Student Resources
Montague Elementary School uses a variety of educational tools to support the academic growth of our students. Below you will find some online resources and tools that students will be utilizing during this upcoming school year.
Student Resources
Benchmark Advance
Benchmark Advance is the ELA curriculum that Mt. Morris Consolidated School utilizes for K-5. Students utilize a workbook, called "Texts for Close Reading" for each unit for Reading and Writing. These are physical workbooks; however, they can also be accessed online (the website URL will be shared here once the school year begins).
Freckle
Freckle is an online program that differentiates for each student based on their skill level. New class codes will be given to students once the new school year has begun.
Google Workspace for Education
Our teachers at Montague utilize a variety of Google Workspace for Education tools such as Google Classroom, Docs, and Slides. Google Classroom is used for students to submit some of their assignments.
Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools use a variety of assessments to inform instruction and help meet the students at their skill level. STAR Reading and STAR Math tests from Renaissance Learning are used as a screening tool to help pinpoint student's abilities in Reading and Math. Students at Montague take these assessments at least 3 times per year (Fall, Winter, and Spring).
