Safety Drill Information
Keeping the students safe during school is extremely important. Montague Elementary throughout the school year conducts fire drills, severe weather drills, and lockdown (shelter in place) drills. Some of these drills are conducted under the supervision of the Mt. Morris Police and Fire Department to ensure the drills are adequate and effective for the safety of our students. The State of Michigan passed legislation requiring schools to post the dates drills as they are conducted. Montague will conduct at least 5 fire drills, 2 severe weather drills, and 3 lockdown drills as outlined by The State of Michigan.
